I just found out
I have a superpower
I can be
Invisible
Maybe not to everyone
Maybe just to you
You look in my direction
But you don't see me
This power
I am trying to learn
To control it
I speak to you
But you don't hear me
If I can become invisible
Surely I can also become
Noticeable
Unmistakeably seen
So I come closer
To touch you
But you don't feel me
I have a superpower
I know I do
But I think

Not be so super

Seen

I don't blog what I eat

It's kind of like having a diary
And I don't even need a lock

So many people say they care
But what effort do they take

I feel so alone

I cut my bangs

And died them purple

You didn’t notice

Or if you did - you didn’t care

Taken for granted

Every night

Before I come to bed

I clear your dishes - as well as mine

I feel so alone

You lie next to me

Sound asleep

I’m still awake

Paying bills - cleaning up messes

I feel so alone

Even though you are

Right next to me

Lately it seems

That I am invisible - not even here
